From Point A to Point B? • Weapons, and Defense • How does one become infected? • What are the various stages of the infection? • Is it possible to be immune to the infection? • Who would be considered at High Risk for the infection?
What Factions Are There? There are currently five factions. However, we add a new faction every 1,000+ posts. There are Rebuilders, Raiders, Spiritualists/Crusaders, Zombies and Old Bloods. To read more about the factions, please click here.
What are Old Bloods? Old Bloods, are essentially like Vampires. Except, there are quite a few differences. They can walk around during the day. They don't die if you shove a stake through their heart. They don't fucking sparkle. There are scientific reasons that they have become as they are. Essentially, they're old, strong humans with some preternatural abilities. If you're interested in reading more about them, please, click here.
What are Zombies? Oh, Zombies, Zombies, everywhere. Zombies are not brought back from the dead in this 'verse. The only reason they are called zombies is because there is nothing else to explain the way that they act. They were never dead; they simply became infected and started to lose themselves to the illness. Their bodies start to decay, and they start to desecrate their own flesh to become less than human. To read more about our version of zombies, please, click here!
When is this supposed to be taking place? Well, in the plot it said two years after 2012, right? Well, that would make it 2014.
What part of the world is this RP taking place in? Since the end of the world has came, no one really pays attention to the boundaries of states anymore. They'll use it generally as a description of where one is heading, but towns, and trade towns are the norm in directions. At least, for the time being. However, this RP is taking place (all of these towns are located) in the United States, North East. More toward New York and Vermont and the like.
What Luxuries Do They Still Have? Depending on where one is, there are actually quite a few luxuries that one still has. Cell phones, and internet are one of the universal luxuries. The apocalypse didn't come by the few drops of a bomb. It came by something more natural, leaving most everything undisturbed. In some houses, there is still water, and electricity. Some, however, there are not. Most don't have the luxury of finding a safe home to stay in, however. Outside of Rustboro that is. So, most go without simply luxuries of clean clothes, and brushed teeth for quite some time.
How Do They Get Around? (Travel) Most travel by foot. If they're fortunate enough to have a car that works after the end of the world, they use that. However, Raiders tend to be the ones to travel around in style. They will take old ambulances, fire trucks, school buses, ice cream trucks... Anything that is big enough to hold a bunch of shit, and kill a bunch of zombies if they need to. Gas pumps are still open, some are depleted, but others are not. There are quite a few people researching alternative fuels.
Weapons and Defense Most Raiders will go out of their way to get the neatest, and shiniest weapon that they can get their hands on. Especially when they're hunting around in Hot Spots. But, because of the end of the world, technological advances have stagnated. Nothing 'new and shiny' has really came about since 2012. So, whatever weapons were before then, are the weapons that are still used. Their might be some fanatics that design and build their own... But those aren't that readily accessible on the market.
How Does One Become Infected? There are quite a few ways to become infected. The most prominent, of course, is through the local plant life. Plants have a natural toxin in them, that up until quite recently either A) wasn't present in them or B) built up to the point that it started to poison the humans that ate them. But, this toxin causes the mind to essentially melt, leaving humans with nothing more than their carnal desires and instincts. It also causes them to go mad amidst all of this. Unfortunately, there was no way to truly escape it, unless one lived off of overly processed foods (with no meat) and ramen noodles. The animals would eat the plant life, which would cause them to carry the toxin as well. Now, clearly there have been amendments made to cleaning the food and ridding it of it's toxins before eating it. But, by the time these steps were taken, it was too late for quite a few people. Then of course, there is the less common way. Being bitten by another zombie. Zombies carry the toxin in their blood and in their saliva. And... other bodily fluids. To come into contact with these fluids is just like eating a month's worth of toxic food.
What Are The Various Stages of Infection? There are three stages of infection - Low, Moderate and High. During the low stage, the Zombie might not even know that they are infected. Any time that they feed they block out, completely getting rid of anything in their memory. The second stage, is moderate. This is where the being might start understanding that they are a zombie. They still have some residual, 'mortal feelings' making it less than acceptable for them to eat human flesh, but they slowly allow their feeding habits to creep into their consciousness. Some accept it at this point. This is generally where their feeding slowly starts to morph into less than simply eating habits. Their more carnal and sinister desires start to kick in. They crave for flesh in more than just one way. Then, there is the High Infection Status. This is where there is no hope. The soul is beyond redemption. The being is now a creature of the Underworld. They desecrate their flesh and rape, kill and eat whomever they come across. If their lucky, it will happen in that order. Some maintain enough consciousness to be able to seduce and play mind games. While this is rare, it does happen.
Is it possible to be immune to the infection? Nope. Not unless you're an Old Blood. Or, you're already a zombie.
Who Would Be Considered at a High Risk of Infection? The more one travels, the more one is forced to eat food that isn't provided by a reliable source. Or, the more likely they are to get bitten or attacked by zombies. Those that move around a lot, especially by foot, are at a High Risk. Raiders that travel in well armored vehicles are at a Moderate Risk.

Registering a Character • Signing Up • Explain the Application Page? • Quick Profile vs. Full Profile? • Where do I apply? • Where is my application moved to? • When can I start playing? • What do I do after I get accepted?
Signing Up We don't require that you sign up with your character name. However, it does make some things easier. But, it's as simple as a click of the button. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, there is a little bar that says, "Copyright © to Not To Be Forgotten." If you hover over it, a bar will pop up. One of the options will be to register. Click it, and start the registration process! Or, there is a simple, "Register" button at the top of the site.
Explain the Application Page? Well, as you can tell, there are separate applications for every faction. We have all of the codes hosted on Webs, so as not to cause any problems for you. Just click on the application link, and it will send you to a box to copy the code. =]
Quick Profile vs. Full Profile Well, here's the thing. All you need is the Quick Profile to start playing. Upon finishing that, you'll receive $50.00 in game currency to do as you please with. The full profile gives everyone (including yourself) a better idea of what type of character you have. And, you gain $150.00 for completing it. You can do the Full Profile post finishing your Quick Profile, or you can never do it! It's all up to you, and it's not necessary.
Where do I apply? Well, there are two boards to apply on in the "Apply" section. There is the Quick Profile section, and the Full Profile section. If posting a Quick Profile, you'd obviously put your application in the Quick Profile section.
Where is my application moved to? If there are issues with your application, you will PMed by an administrator, and your application will be moved to the edit section. However, if your application is accepted, you will be moved to the Roster, in any of the appropriate sub boards.
When can I start playing? If you have completed a quick profile, have an avatar up and your name as well, you can start posting! Even without having the custom title from an administrator! However, if you are doing a full profile, you must wait until that is approved, and you are given a custom title, as well as having the avatar, and the appropriate display name.
What do I do after I get accepted? That will be covered in the next two sections of questions and answers!

Claiming and Extras • Where do I go to claim? • What is required to be claimed? • Why do I need to claim? • Explain Residency Claims • Explain Random Event Claims • Explain the Store Claims
Where do I go to claim? There are two boards that you should post your initial claims on. That, of course, is the In Character Claims section, and the Not To Be Forgotten Claims section. Here, you will find, Face Claims, Theme Song Claims, Residency Claims, etc., etc.
What is required to be claimed? The only thing that we mandate is your face claim. The rest is stuff that you can tack on as 'Character Extras.'
Why do I need to claim? Well, there is really a simple explanation for this. When you select a playby, and you claim them, no one else can take that face, unless, you've plotted this person having a twin. The same goes with everything else. Well, with the exception of the cell phone and facebook claims for your characters. The reason that you need to claim these, is so that other people can find your character's page. In short, it just makes things a lot easier.
Explain Residency Claims If you have a character that is stagnant (meaning, they're not moving around a lot), you can claim a place where they live. This is just a sub-board for your character's home.
Explain Random Event Claims These are the most simple to understand, and quite possibly, the most fun claims you can make. Random Events is something that happens while you're in the midst of a thread. By signing up for these, you're giving the administrator to throw a completely random event at you, whenever they so please. Of course, we won't abuse this right... Much.
Explain the Store Claims The store is where you can go to pick up nifty things for your characters. Also, to claim if you've sold something to someone for a certain price. Yes, we can do that. There will be another thread explaining the way that the currency system works. But, you can go there to claim money that you have earned, by advertising or affiliating our board. Or, of course, by posting your quick/full profile, etc. etc.
